The Los Angeles fires of early 2025 decimated many historic neighborhoods and family-owned businesses. Many fear that, with the costs of rebuilding, permit restrictions, and the resulting property uninsurability, affected Los Angeleans will be unable to rebuild and will be forced to abandon their property and to relocate.
