The Los Angeles wildfires in early 2025 decimated thousands of homes and businesses, some of which will never be rebuilt. The last view many residents saw as they fled from the inferno may have been the terrifying sight of the fire that generated its own wind, fiercely roaring through the iconic Southern California palms.
