The Dark Forest: Sylvan Lake Fire 3

I hiked to the site of a wildfire in Colorado to witness the devastation caused by a lightning strike. Struck by the beauty of the wounded forest, I vowed to document its rebirth annually with the creation of a basket. Year #2 found the forest still dominated by burned pines and dead brush; however, plants and flowers had begun to appear among the devastation.
