Labels on canned goods fascinate me, especially when they contain a hint of early-to-mid 20th Century product design. Inspiration for many of my tapestries from this period came from fruit crate labels, which were colorful advertisements glued to the ends of the wooden crates that held produce from the 1880s to the mid 1950s
